This summer, CITYPAK is donating 1,000 CITYPAKs to five Los Angeles organizations serving unhoused neighbors and at-risk youth. Special distributions will take place June 11 at My Friend’s Place in Hollywood and June 26 at Safe Place for Youth in Venice during their annual Pride celebration, with additional PAKs shared through Saban Community Clinic, The People Concern, and Venice Family Clinic later this summer.

We’re grateful to work alongside these incredible partners, whose teams show up every day with care, resources, and connection. Together, we’re helping ensure more neighbors across Los Angeles have a durable, dignified way to carry what matters most.

CITYPAK is proud to once again participate in Skid Row Community Connect Day, hosted by the Inner City Law Center, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for the rights of low-income and unhoused individuals in Los Angeles.The biannual event brings together dozens of community organizations providing vital services for unhoused neighbors - including health screenings, pet resources, housing support, and other essential assistance. CITYPAK will donate 200 CITYPAKs to be distributed on the April 16 event, helping ensure that individuals receiving services also have a durable, dignified way to carry their essential belongings.

This winter, CITYPAK was honored to support the extraordinary work of Crisis by distributing 500 CITYPAKs during the holiday season - a time when compassion and community matter most. The PAKs were shared at Crisis day centres and with guests transitioning from temporary hotel accommodations into their next chapter.

CITYPAK is honored to participate in NYC’s Don’t Walk By outreach for the fourth year in a row, donating 350 CITYPAKs to support neighbors experiencing homelessness during the 19th annual event.

Every Thanksgiving, The Salvation Army of Greater New York opens its doors to hundreds of New Yorkers who might otherwise go without a warm meal. This year, CITYPAK is honored to support their efforts with the donation of 800 CITYPAKs.

Now in our seventh consecutive year of collaboration, CITYPAK and IRUSA have delivered close to 35,000 PAKs to communities across the country. Each backpack is more than just a bag—it’s a lifeline, giving recipients a secure and reliable way to carry their belongings, along with a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

CITYPAK has been partnering with Inner City Law Center (ICLC) throughout the last couple of years.  Most recently, over 300+ CITYPAKs were donated for ICLS’s fifth biannual Skid Row Community Connect Day.
