About CITYPAK
Serving those experience housing hardship
The CITYPAK Project is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization that works to provide custom-designed backpacks to persons experiencing homelessness or in housing transition.
Founded in 2012 by music-industry businessman and philanthropist Ron Kaplan, CITYPAK partners with international adventure travel gear manufacturer High Sierra to provide a useful, high-quality backpack for those in need.
Together with organizations serving homeless communities, refugee organizations, and institutions that provide disaster relief solutions, CITYPAK strives for dignity in homelessness, helping to ensure that those experiencing housing hardship feel supported, respected and seen.
